Godot Inc., a deep-tech startup specializing in behavioral science and AI, has been selected for Forbes JAPAN’s 2025 “JAPAN’S AI 50” list. This recognition highlights the company’s innovative approach to integrating human behavior principles with advanced AI technologies. 

The “JAPAN’S AI 50” list, modeled after Forbes’ global “AI 50,” identifies 50 leading AI startups in Japan. Companies are evaluated based on five criteria: innovation, market potential, growth prospects, team strength, and fundraising capability. Recommendations from venture capitalists investing in the AI sector also play a significant role in the selection process. 

Established in July 2022, Godot aims to address unresolved global challenges by leveraging behavioral science and multimodal AI technologies. The company explores how advanced technologies can enhance human cognition and physicality, fostering deeper self-understanding and empathy. Since its inception, Godot has actively pursued international collaborations, establishing a research and development center in Vienna within its first year. The company plans to expand into the United States and ASEAN countries, with aspirations for a future U.S. listing.
