Commitment to Responsible AI Development Strengthens Godot’s Global Position
Godot GmbH (our European R&D base in Vienna), has become the firstJapanese startup to sign the “AI Pact,” an initiative promoted by the European Commission. TheAI Pact is a voluntary agreement that encourages companies to proactively align with the AIAct—the first comprehensive legal framework on AI—prior to its official implementation.The AI Pact calls for participating companies to adopt practices in line with the objectives of theAI Act, including ethical, safe, and trustworthy AI development. Godot’s participation highlightsits commitment to international standards of transparency, accountability, and human-centricAI.The European Commission emphasized that the AI Pact is designed to accelerate the adoption ofresponsible AI practices before the AI Act becomes legally binding. Godot’s signaturedemonstrates leadership not only in Japan but also on a global stage in responsible AIdeployment.
