Godot joins 25 innovative companies from around the world in the program’s Digital Health track. Alongside EFL mentors,NYU Stern MBA students, and fellow Digital Health startups, Godot will accelerate its growth globally.

Purpose of Participation (Comment by CEO Ken Moriyama):
We are honored that Godot has been selected as the only Japanese company—out of 1,617applicants from 78 countries—for this year’s program, and also the only Asian company in theDigital Health track. The United States is the country where I spent my formative years—from childhood through graduate school—and Manhattan, where NYU Stern is located, is a place of personal significance, as it’s where I underwent corporate training in my first year as a working professional.

New York is filled with elements essential to Godot’s growth. The U.S., along with the U.K., is a global leader in behavioral science. Especially in New York, where diverse cultures and ethnicities intersect in complex ways, our design philosophy of “inclusivity of diversity” finds fertile ground.

It is also a birthplace of cultural movements and a global epicenter of the arts—resonatingstrongly with our mission to “cultivate creativity through cutting-edge technology.” Moreover,New York is home to one of the world’s top startup ecosystems, a global financial hub, and theUnited Nations headquarters—all of which align with and support our global strategy. In essence, New York is a city where the best of art, technology, and society converge—elements vital for Godot’s evolution.

As a deep-tech startup, Godot has steadily built strategic partnerships with leading global tech research communities. In the U.S., we’ve participated in programs like Berkeley SkyDeck inSilicon Valley and formed ties with Boston’s Augmentation Lab, building collaborations with top academic institutions like MIT, Harvard, and UC Berkeley.

With the EFL program as a springboard, we aim to address complex healthcare challenges requiring inclusive solutions, deepen relationships with local stakeholders, expand our foundational technologies in the U.S. market, and materialize strategies for future business and technological advancements.

We are grateful for the opportunity to receive long-term support—nine months, a significant duration for a startup—from EFL, which maintains strong ties with industry. We are committed to making the most of this program, aspiring to become a model case as the only Japanese company selected this year. We appreciate your continued support.
